Dwight Cupit. Surrey Cryptics CC: "...now that we are all safely back in England we wanted to thank you and the LJCC for providing a great weekend for us.  What a lovely country and we had a great time in Ljubljana.      We really enjoyed the hospitality, banter and good nature of your club and your ground must rank as one of the nicest settings we have played.  I noted with interest that most of your expats where there "because of a girl" and we can see why.
  It was also great to see that you have managed to get the locals involved in spreading cricket's reach around the world.  Thanks again.

Steve Anthony. Hungary: "...Hi guys! Just a quick note to say thanks for the hospitality and warm welcome you gave our guys last weekend... All the best too  to  Al "the reverend" Green - had a real nice time sharing beers on Sunday night with him and a couple of the Slovenian guys! The lakeside boozer gets a big thumbs up :)

Nick Fennell. Milton CC: "What a great weekend - after 10 years of sampling local brews, wickets and pole dancing clubs around Europe, this was voted the best Milton CC tour yet  We were flattered by your hospitality and humbled that you let us win - twice I think the stuff you are doing to encourage the locals and the schools is so refreshing compared to some of the pompous ex-pat set-ups we have visited, and the website is excellent"

Maxie Allen, St Anne's All-Stars Cricket Club U.K Tour Organiser:  "Thanks once again for all your hospitality over the weekend. We not only had a marvellous time, but were blown away by the lengths you went to make our visit special. We really appreciated every part of it, from the help organising hotels and transfers, to escorting us around town each night, to the actual cricket itself.

Graeme Turton, Secretary, Morton CC: "The lads all got back home safe and well even after enjoying some Trieste and Stansted airport hospitality. Everybody who I have spoken to since has said that Ljubljana was the best Morton Tour yet. Superb hospitality from our hosts, staying in a beautiful city, with stunning countryside in a lovely country. Say a big thank you to all those connected with Ljubljana CC who contributed to the success of our week, they are a cracking bunch of lads, All the games were played in great spirit and your lads required no encouragement to come and enjoy a beer with us both after the games and throughout the week".

Gary Edwards, Munich CC Tour Supremo: "On behalf of all at MCC I'd like to pass on our thanks for all the hospitality shown by everyone at Lj CC. Everybody had a great trip and enjoyed the cricket, Ljubljana and all the delights that go with it. Even the weather came up trumps for us. Cheers to the guys and gals who made the lunches as they were excellent.Looking forward to hosting you guys later in the year and returning the fine hospitality that was given to us.

Brian Lewis, United Nations' CC: "We did indeed have a great weekend from all perspectives and on behalf of the UNCC I would like to thank LJCC for all you did to make it such an enjoyable trip for us. (Not least bowling that last full toss to us on Sunday :-). Seriously, we were spoiled by your hospitality".

Rusty Bellinghan, United Nations' CC Captain: "Ljcc are a great bunch of lads, who like us, enjoy the social side, that the game of cricket entertains. Wwe will have fond memories from what was truly an eventful weekend. Most of our cricketers took at least four days to recover after two well fought matches. Dare I say that I'm not too sure if it was the cricket or the hospitality. Nonetheless it was huge and we look forward to the new ground in the making. Good luck with that! Keep up the good work of promoting cricket down there".

Nick Pedgrift, Archery Tavern CC Tour Organiser: "Thanks again for a super tour on behalf of Archery: I have never known them complain so little!"

Keith Mitchell, Masstor CC: Time to write and thank you for an excellent weekend's cricket against Ljubljana CC! The games were great fun, well-fought and tense - especially Saturday - and it was really good to see so many locals playing for you. Far more than we have seen on our other foreign tours - a big pat on the back for you and the other lads for spreading cricket into the farthest corners of the continent, and best wishes too for Maribor CC. We look forward to a two-venue tour next time (if invited, of course!). We loved the country, the city, the food (isn't Sokol a great gostilna!), the gorgeous, gorgeous girls, the people, the language (?) and the prices.
